The 'Guildhall /Trinity' and 'Rock School' have a series of books which are carefully graded from beginner to advanced. Both offer qualifications to anyone interested in taking drum kit exams and the books contain all relevant examination material. All books come with CD's that have recordings of the pieces on as well as backing tracks with the drummer taken out so the student can play along. Even if it isn't necessarily the intention to take exams the books are superb as a training resource and good fun to try. The books include pieces, rudimental studies, exerxcises as well as advice and information on the pieces
